Another Successful Village Show

Thanks to everyone who contributed to our successful Village Show in September, particular thanks go to Pam Bell and the Lady’s Village Show Group who have been planning it for a long time.

Of course, the other big thank you goes to the children for all their posters and artwork which were shown off in the Station’s Waiting Room/Gallery; and to you, the family and friends of villagers who contributed their arts and crafts, and attended.

The winners of the various trophies were as follows:

Overall show winner – Bob Cubin Cup – Pam Bell
Overall winner in the children’s categories – Jubilee Cup – Calum Bell
Best fruit & vegetables – Maureen Trotter Cup – Community Garden
Best Flora & Fauna Photograph (adult) – John Done Cup – Mike Dooley
Best Flora & Fauna Photograph (child) – John Done Junior Cup – Calum Bell
Best preserve – WRI Cup – Linn Collis
Most contributions to North Queensferry’s natural & cultural heritage – Heritage Trust Shield – Martyna Pozzoni (awarded by The Primary School).
